This new hand-felted bag is inspired by a cheerful village landscape, created from soft wool fibers and shaped entirely by hand. It’s a one-of-a-kind accessory that brings color, texture, and personality to everyday life.
Inspiration
The design captures a tiny fairytale village: small houses with bright rooftops, winding paths, and a sky filled with movement and layered colors. The playful forms and vivid tones reflect the joy and spontaneity that often appear in my textile artworks.
Technique & Materials
The bag is made using traditional wet-felting and needle-felting techniques. Layers of merino wool were blended, shaped, and compressed to form a durable structure.
The houses and landscape details were built up using textile collage and fine stitching.
The straps are made from sturdy woven textile for comfortable everyday wear.
